hand lettering and typography

twitch stream assets

I've been streaming both games and art on Twitch for the past few years. Branding and unifying my look on the platform was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I've taken on in a while.

All of the text is hand-lettered and can be interchanged based on what I am streaming that day. The timer is also hand-lettered and was animated frame-by-frame. The watchers (the little floating eyes) and my two alerts were also animated frame-by-frame in Photoshop, and the floating effect was achieved in After Effects.

The subscriber emotes, the "be right back" screen, and other multi-use icons are centered around community in-jokes and characters.

All of it is tied together in a fresh, modern pink and blue color palette and a fun, approachable style. I think that I've made a really unique space on twitch for my little community to hang out and have lots of fun together!

where the water tastes like wine
fan art - achievement icons

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a super fun indie game that has an amazing style. When I saw the missed opportunity to have some unique art for their Steam achievements, I decided to take it upon myself to design a handful of them.

The ones I chose to focus on are for achievements centered around unlocking the story of a character named Quinn, meeting the devil, finding three whippoorwills, and completing the main story of the game.

flag designs

I find the meaning that can be packed into simple flag designs fascinating, so when I created the two nations for my homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaign, I had to design flags for them.

The first flag is for the Kingdom of Peregrine, a tropical region that stands united under The Crown after a long civil war.

The second is for The Northstar Republic, a much colder country whose culture is deeply rooted in spiritualism and magic. The four provinces are represented by the four blue stripes.
